It's always a great dining experience at The Dive. We often dine here. Great happy hour! The Dine LA menu was fantastic. We enjoyed some truffle fries, bacon wrapped shrimp for starters. Then we got the lobster roll (additional $10) and chowder my fave! Ended with some beignets and bread pudding cake with ice cream. Delicious meal suffice to say. Excellent service as well for a busy Friday night with a live singer onsite.

After seeing photos of the food, I thought I must give "The Dive" a try - and it was SO GOOD. The Pan Roast (house specialty) was full of flavors without being overly seasoned. The bisque was savory with a strong tomato flavor, topped off with a decent amount of sides. The Roasta was very creamy with a subtle hint of tomato in the background. The Chowder Frots were good but overpriced for the portion. Food aside, the service is terrible. The restaurant had only 3 tables seated (including us). We had our hands in the air for over 5 minutes, and the staff were either walking around doing nothing or facing us with their back. I would understand if they are busy, but why stand around with your back turned on the customer? The waitress was completely unaware and it took another worker to notify her to get her attention. Other than that, the restaurant is clean and the decoration was unique. The dim lighting isn't to my liking, but doesn't take away too much from the experience. I would be interested to come back again for other food items on the menu, and would really love to give this place a 5 star update in the future.

This place was fire! I had their bacon wrapped shrimp as an appetizer and the shrimp was cooked perfectly, the dipping sauce was also FIRE! As my entreeI had the Roasta, which is a Cajun style pasta that has pan roast/parmesan/basil/linguine/shredded crab/mussels/sausage/shrimp/sauteed trinity (bell pepper, celery & onion.) I will definitely come back to try some of their other dishes. My cousin had the Jambalaya and he said it was great! The service was also 10/10!

Solid cajun restaurant with good food and service. I came on a weeknight and was seated promptly. After debating between a few different dishes, I ended up ordering the grilled cheese & pan roast. The grilled cheese itself was run-of-the-mill - like something I could slap together at home in 2 minutes. As unremarkable as the sandwich was, the pan roast, on the other hand, was exceptional. The pan roast was a flavorful tomato bisque, heavier than your standard tomato soup, and it was utter perfection. The lychee dream cocktail was pretty good too. And of course, there's always room for dessert, especially if it's bread pudding. Overall, the dinner was satisfying. ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. Average. Might return if others drag me. 4 Stars: Yum! Likely to return. 5 Stars: Amazing! Would plan my day around it.

Lively and festive atmosphere! Perfect for holiday gatherings! Service is excellent. I can see everyone is busy as this place is packed, however they make sure you are well taken care of. I recommend the gumbo and bouillaroast. We ordered more bread cause the sauce is just that good. The sprouts taste good but a bit oily for me. Big parking lot and underground parking available in the plaza.

The Dive never disappoints. Staff at the front of the house to the bar to the folks behind the pasta bar...everyone is friendly as hell. Came in for happy hour with a friend and had to order my favorite. Hands down, The Dive has the best cheesy shrimp and grits in the area. The bacon and andouille sausage add such a boost of cajun flavor. Mouth watering! It's a must for me. Also ordered the loaded mac n chowder in a sourdough bread bowl. I was too full to even get through half. So sad I forget my leftovers on the table. Just gives me another reason to go back for another meal. *parking is always a pain since the plaza has super popular restaurants. make it easier on yourself and head straight to the underground parking lot.

Would you take "The Dive" into your chef boyardee tasting panroast?! Was that too much? XD Okay.. some of the dishes don't 't actually taste like it but one of them do & it's bomb! Who doesn't like that 99 cent store ravioli sauce? Well maybe unlike that "dollar" store this place will be open for a while. Also everything will taste more fresh here. Love seafood? Enjoy drinks? Good vibes please? This might be your spot! Happy hours! 3PM-6:30PM Monday-Friday 10PM-11:30PM Friday & Saturday Multiple different oysters, the lobster pasta isn't bad, truffle Mac & cheese? Expensive but satisfying for the cravings. You already know about their bomb chef boyardee tasting pot roast from what I said earlier ;) the brunch is heavy so make sure to be ready to eat! Yes they do have bottomless mimosas. At the corner of Rosemead & Las Tunas you will see a giant floating teapot overflowing a huge teacup. Parking will be difficult but they do have a down stair part to it. Most drivers in this plaza are surprisingly patient here. Make sure to make reservations if you're going to dinner weekends or there for their Sunday brunch. Service! Excellent service but don't expect the food to come out quickly. They don't make it until you order it. Stop thinking jack in the box =P Well also for to go orders they do not accept them if they are over $200 dollars. The owners are very nice. Achilles, it's always a pleasure man. You are on point. Eddie thanks for being good to us every time Mellissa you are fabulous! April awesome service. Kim! Great service! Don't be scared of Yelp reviews! Jeff thank you for always giving good vibes! James great man! Somphone! Man people have to just meet you to see how great you are. Jenny! Thanks for good vibes & smiles :)

For it being a dive oyster bar, we didn't even try any fresh oysters! We did have fried oysters though. Found another good Cajun restaurant to try. This in Temple City SoCal area. We came o a very hot day and everyone was out and about. This place has good options and wanted to try their special with a set meal but everyone on our table had to get it as well. Also, was craving Cajun food like we did in Louisiana. We came with a big group so we ordered different items and everything was good including the draft beer: Chowder Frots Fried Oysters House Pan Roast, Lobster roll Hot Cheetos Mac and cheese - was ok Chowder bread bowl. Prices are pretty decent. Service is good. It's was not too crowded but it's located with a bunch of other stores and parking here is scarce!! Popular location. I would definitely come back here if it was closer to me. I'm craving this place just writing this! [66R,2024]
